Aircon System Problems

The boat is equipped with 6x Cruisair independent air conditioning units, tropical specs. Each fancoil unit has its own compressor.

Aircon system shutting down

During handover, we realized that when switched on, the aircon system was running for a minute or two and then shutting down. Later we have been advised that the box controlling the aircon raw water pump was faulty.
Status: Fixed in 10 days.

"Low Pressure" warning

One of the Aircon controllers was constantly displaying 'LP' error, meaning "Low Pressure". We have been advised that one of the compressor units had insufficient refrigerant pressure therefore automatically shutting down the system. This fault has been communicated to yard in writing during one of our previous inspections. The yard took no action at that time.

Kinked/Damaged Air Conditioning Ducting in Master Cabin

Master cabin behind wardrobe tech area, a ducting from fancoil runs all the way to the outlet plenum up above the wardrobe.
As we switched on the Master cabin aircon, we noticed that airflow from air duct was very low no matter the fan speed. Took out the cover to check the ducting, at which point we noticed that the air duct was twisted and kinked.
Status: Fixed in 6 days

Air duct running from fancoil to plenum was kinked.

When we took out the cover to access the tech area behind the wardrobe, we noticed by chance that the insulation of the ducting was damaged.
